Welcome to the Golf Analytics Knowledge website!
This website will be a knowledge center for all things related to golf and analytics, with a focus on helping you to improve your golf game through the use of analytics.
What is analytics? Analytics is the use of data and information to help you to make better decisions. Better decisions on the golf course means lower scores. Lower scores means being a better golfer and having more fun (and less dread) on the course.
Who am I? My name is Chris Clark. I’m not a pro golfer or even a great golfer, but a golfer who has recognized the value of analytics in improving my game. I graduated from Northwestern University with a Master’s degree in Predictive Analytics (Data Science). I’ve ramped-up my golf game since retiring from Fidelity Investments in 2021, and plan on increasing my use of analytics to improve my game. I hope you’ll visit here often and use my learnings and research to better your game too.
I’m passionate about applied analytics, especially in golf and in retirement finances. If you are retired or planning on retirement, I encourage you to check out my retirement analytics website: Retirement Analytics Knowledge to find my learnings and research there as well. And for those among you who are interested in another of my passions, information visualization, take a look at VizKnowledge, for everything you need to know to develop expertise in that area.
I’d love to hear from you and share your own learnings and feedback related to golf analytics. Feel free to use the Contact form to give me a shout. I also encourage you to subscribe to the Golf Analytics Knowledge newsletter, check here to subscribe.
Hit ’em straight!
